Susan Burgess Susan Burgess has extensive experience in consulting, training, curriculum development, business development, coaching, and teaching. She began her career as an educator and curriculum developer teaching and managing specialized learning centers in Southern California. She holds a masters degree in education. She later went on to work for ten years in marketing and advertising in the Pacific Northwest. She was on the executive team of several advertising agencies and was Vice President of Account Services for Evans Communications. She managed the teams responsible for accounts such as Eddie Bauer and the Sheraton Hotels Pacific Northwest Region. Susan returned to graduate school and completed another master's degree in psychology specializing in clinical psychology and organizational behavior. She had a private therapy practice and is a licensed psychotherapist. Her practice in organizational development consulting includes working with organizations such as Hewlett Packard, the Boeing Airplane Company, Capital One and Coca Cola with a focus on developing and delivering programs in leadership development, communication, and team and executive coaching. Several years ago she developed a workshop for women leaders, The Women's Edge. She has since co-founded Syncresse Partners, Inc. This company is dedicated to the professional development of women focusing on leadership, communication, collaboration and innovation, organizational life, and life integration. The company sponsors programs throughout the US and Canada in addition to working with businesses and associations to develop customized programs for women employees and members. Past participants include women from Hewlett Packard, Kellogg Company, Women in Technology and Oregon State University. She currently lives in Syracuse, New York with her husband. She is a partner in True North Group, LLC, a consulting firm focused on helping people in businesses and nonprofits in Central New York collaborate, create and perform at their highest level. Michael Dimeo Michael has extensive experience in helping organizations and individuals enhance performance effectiveness through skill-based training and consultation. He has taught a variety of management and leadership development programs for major companies. His experience spans 30 years from positions in operations, engineering, and human resources where he has learned leadership best practices in various industries. Michael teaches organizational behavior in the business school at the University of Washington. He is also part of a consulting consortium whose mission is to help organizations and individuals improve performance and increase effectiveness. Michael holds a BA in English and sociology, an MS in educational psychology, and a Ph.D. in social psychology from Kansas State University.
